The Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee in the south-central region has submitted planning for the Canh Vinh urban and service area to the Ministry of Construction for review.
The area will cover over 883 ha and consist of six zones.
Zone 1 will feature industrial services, including production and logistic services. Zone 2 will upgrade existing residential and resettlement areas, with an estimated population of over 10,000, and Zone 3 will develop a new residential area along the East-West traffic axis, with an expected population of over 6,100.
Zone 4, meanwhile, will feature ecological housing areas, with the development of ecological services such as restaurants and hotels along the river. Zone 5 will develop a residential and commercial service complex, and Zone 6 will feature mountains, hills, and water surface area.
Planning for the Canh Vinh urban and service area is aimed at cementing adjustments to the construction planning for the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone by 2040 and supporting the Becamex A Industrial and Urban Zone in the future.
It is also aimed at connecting transport infrastructure with technical infrastructure in surrounding areas, such as airports, seaports, and expressways.
