Southern Binh Duong province aims to post wood export turnover of $9-10 billion by 2025 and $12-13 billion by 2030 under a master plan on developing the local wood processing industry.
Under the plan, it will build nine industrial complexes specializing in wood processing with an average area of 70-72 ha each.
The plan aims to develop the wood processing industry with modern technology and be capable of producing high-quality wood products to meet domestic consumption and export demand.
It sets orientations for the development of the sector, including investment in advanced technology and modern equipment to produce high-quality wood products, develop raw material plantation areas, and expand markets.
