Industrial parks (IPs) in south-central Binh Thuan province attracted two new investment projects in the first half of 2023 with total investment of $45.6 million, according to the management board of local IPs.

They include an aluminum production plant invested in by Ame Aluminum Ltd. Co., with capital of $42 million, and the Song Binh Titanium Slag Processing plant invested in by Rang Dong Minerals Ltd. Co, with $3.6 million.

IPs in the province have so far attracted 87 projects, including 59 domestic projects and 28 FDI projects, with total registered capital of over $1 billion.

Businesses at IPs posted revenue of more than VND4 trillion ($168 million) in the first half, a year-on-year increase of 11 per cent. Export turnover stood at $110 million, up 4.7 per cent.
