Vietnamese IT firm Bkav announced on January 22 that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with OPSWAT, an internationally-renowned company from the US specializing in cyber security and safeguarding critical infrastructure. The agreement aims to enhance the effectiveness of virus prevention and optimize cybersecurity solutions for critical infrastructure.

OPSWAT will incorporate the Bkav Pro antivirus software into its Multiscanning solution for virus detection and prevention, currently utilized by 1,400 organizations and businesses globally. The purpose of the partnership is to provide organizations and businesses operating in Vietnam with a reliable virus prevention solution, helping secure their crucial network systems against persistent and increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks.

The inclusion of Bkav Pro along with other malware protection software from around the world will help maximize OPSWAT Multiscanning’s ability to detect and prevent cyber threats. By integrating 30 antivirus software into its Multiscanning solution, OPSWAT’s malicious code detection rate will increase to 99 per cent.

The Bkav Pro software will bring numerous benefits to customers using OPSWAT Multiscanning, featuring prominent functionalities such as utilization of cloud computing technology and AI. As a reputable antivirus software in Vietnam, Bkav Pro will also help improve efficiency and reduce detection times of malicious codes originating from Vietnam or the neighboring region.
