Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway project submitted to NA

Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, on behalf of the government, signed a report sending the first phase of investment in the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway project to the National Assembly (NA) for approval. The 188-km route passes through the Mekong Delta’s Can Tho city and the three provinces of An Giang, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang, with total public investment standing at nearly VND47 trillion ($2 billion). It is one of six key expressways prioritized for investment in the Delta, with construction to begin in 2023 and completion expected in 2025.
