The Vietnam Department of Expressways at the Ministry of Transport (MoT) plans to complete procedures to begin construction of three expressways under the ministry’s management with a total length of 142 km.

They include the Dau Giay - Tan Phu, Cho Moi - Bac Kan, and Lo Te - Rach Soi Expressways.

The department will also coordinate with relevant agencies to help localities start construction of eleven other projects under the management of local authorities with a total length of 758 km.

These projects are the 75-km Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway, the 60-km Lang Son - Huu Nghi Border Gate Expressway, the 67-km Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway, the 74-km Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway, 87-km sections of the Ninh Binh - Hai Phong Expressway, the 129-km Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway, the 60-km Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh Expressway, the 65-km Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, the 34-km Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway, and the 199-km Ring Road No. 4 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The department will also review all projects in localities to tackle difficulties and complete procedures to fulfill the target of Vietnam having 3,000 km of expressways by 2025.
