Construction of northern Bac Ninh province’s first eco-industrial park kicked off in Gia Binh district on July 9.
The Gia Binh II Industrial Park covers 250 ha and has total investment capital of VND3.9 trillion ($164 million), the Lao Dong online newspaper reports.
Invested in by the Hanaka Group JSC, the park is expected to attract projects in manufacturing and assembling electronics, information technology, and high-technology.
It will encompass an eco-park that emphasizes circular economic principles, asset conservation, and the creation of a green, clean, and aesthetically-pleasing environment.
Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee Dao Quang Khai asked the investor, the project management board, and the contractors to ensure quality and project progress.
He directed authorities in Gia Binh district to create the conditions the investor needs to implement and complete the project on schedule, which will contribute to attracting a new wave of investment and boosting socio-economic development.
