The Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee has agreed to the scale and implementation progress of a section of Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No. 4 passing through the southern province.
The 35-km section will cost an estimated VND17 trillion ($714 million) and have four lanes.
Over VND7.8 trillion ($327 million) of the cost will be used for site clearance and the remainder for project construction.
A feasibility study will be conducted in the third quarter of 2024, with construction scheduled to get underway in 2026 and be completed in the first quarter of 2028.
The 198-km Ring Road No. 4 passes through Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, and Binh Duong provinces, Ho Chi Minh City, and Long An province. Total investment is estimated at VND100 trillion ($4.2 billion).
