Hanoi plans to kick off construction of a road connecting the Phap Van - Cau Gie Expressway and Ring Road No. 3 in June, with investment capital estimated at over VND3.24 trillion ($135.5 million).

The capital will be mobilized from the city’s budget.

Construction of the six-lane, 3.4-km link is expected to be completed by 2025.

Once completed, it will ease traffic congestion at the Phap Van Intersection, which is a gateway to the capital.

Hanoi plans to implement 238 public investment projects this year, including 96 transport projects with total capital of VND7.52 trillion ($314 million), accounting for 53.1 per cent of the its capital plan.
