A consortium has been selected to build the Hoa Lien - Tuy Son section of the Eastern North-South Expressway project, according to the project management board.

The section runs for 11.5 km entirely within central Da Nang city’s Hoa Vang district.

Total investment is estimated at over VND2.1 trillion ($87 million), with VND951 billion ($39.6 million) going to site clearance and VND902 billion ($37.5 million) to construction.

The consortium consists of the Truong Son Construction Corporation, the Civil Engineering Construction Corporation No. 5, and the MTV 17 Ltd. Co.

In the first phase, the link will have four lanes and two emergency lanes, with a speed limit of 80 km/h. Lane numbers will increase to six in a later phase.

Once completed, it will help promote transport links between the La Son - Hoa Lien Expressway and the Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway, contributing to enhancing socio-economic development in Da Nang and the surrounding region.
