Corporate bond issuances reach $13.2 bln in 10M

Corporate bond issuances reached VND336.6 trillion ($13.2 billion) in the past 10 months of the year, marking a significant increase of 72% year-on-year, according to the MB Securities.

The average bond interest rates stayed at 7% annually.

In October alone, the issuances of corporate bonds totaled VND36.2 trillion ($1.41 billion), up 24% compared to the same period last year.

The banking sector was the largest issuer in the ten-month period with bond value worth over VND263 trillion ($10.3 billion), skyrocketing 154% year-on-year and accounting for 72% of the total.

Meanwhile, the real estate sector issued bonds worth VND56.1 trillion ($2.19 billion), down 23% year-on-year and accounting for 15% of the total.
