The Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment in central Vietnam has agreed to adjustments to the license for the Ba Na - Suoi Mo eco-tourism complex.
The project’s total investment will increase to VND39 trillion ($1.64 billion).
It was granted the investment license in May 2008.
The adjustment is aimed at upgrading a number of works to meet development demand and tourists’ needs as well as to minimize the impact on natural landscapes and develop biodiversity at Ba Na - Nui Chua ecological site.
The new capital matches the current investment scale after Covid-19 and to respond to the impacts of inflation, material price rises, and higher labor costs.
There will be two main sub-projects, including the construction of an eco-tourism area on top of Ba Na Hills with entertainment facilities and cable car routes, and the Suoi Mo eco-tourism site at the foot of Ba Na Hills.
