The Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Hung has signed Decision No. 3938/QD-UBND regarding the establishment of a task force to develop the project: "Pilot Development of the Low-Altitude Space Economy in Da Nang City until 2030."
According to the decision, the task force is headed by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Quang Buu, while Director of the city Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Thanh Hong serves as the Standing Deputy Head, and Deputy Director of the city Department of Science and Technology Tran Ngoc Thach as a Deputy Head.
A key priority for the task force is to direct and coordinate activities between various departments, agencies, local authorities, experts, and businesses throughout the research and formulation of the project. The task force is also tasked with overseeing the drafting process, gathering feedback, and finalizing the project proposal. Furthermore, the group will research and propose mechanisms, policies, and solutions within the city's jurisdiction, while recommending that competent authorities consider and decide on relevant matters to support the project's development.
The task force is also responsible for monitoring and urging progress, synthesizing results, and reporting to the City People's Committee and the Chairman to suggest necessary leadership directions and interventions.
The Department of Science and Technology will serve as the standing body of the task force, responsible for ensuring all operational conditions are met.
