The Da Nang International Travel Festival 2025 officially opened in the central city of the same name on October 16, marking its second edition with an expanded, international-scale format, featuring nearly 6,000 business exchanges between domestic and foreign tourism enterprises.
The event, organized by the Da Nang Tourism Association in collaboration with HORECFEX Vietnam, aims to create a dynamic platform for business networking, open up opportunities for strategic partnerships, and contribute to sustainable growth in tourism.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, affirmed: “The year 2025 marks a major leap forward for Vietnam’s tourism industry, with the goal of welcoming 25 million international visitors as outlined in Government Resolution No. 226. The Da Nang International Travel Festival 2025 serves as a significant milestone underscoring that commitment.”
According to Mr. Tan Van Vuong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Da Nang International Travel Festival 2025 is a key event in the city’s tourism promotion strategy. He emphasized that this is not merely a promotional activity, but a platform for Da Nang to reaffirm its position as a regional hub for tourism.
Mr. Vuong noted that in the first nine months of 2025, Da Nang’s tourism sector achieved impressive results, welcoming over 14.4 million visitors, with international arrivals increasing by more than 31%. This, he added, is a positive indicator of the city’s strong recovery and growth momentum following the administrative merger.
Entering its second edition, the Da Nang International Travel Festival 2025 returns on a larger scale with more in-depth content. The event’s highlight is the B2B networking space – one of the largest business-to-business tourism events in Vietnam.
With over 300 sellers, 110 international buyers from key markets such as Thailand, South Korea, Japan, China, India, Russia and other CIS countries, and Western Europe, along with 180 domestic travel companies, the event brings together nearly 2,000 delegates representing businesses, hotels, restaurants, service providers, and tour guides.
Within the framework of the event, activities include thematic seminars, the Congress of the Da Nang Travel Association for the 2025–2029 term, and in-depth discussion sessions focusing on strategies for attracting visitors and developing new tourism products.
Through its diverse lineup of business networking, conferences, and multidimensional exchanges, the Da Nang International Travel Festival 2025 serves not only as a trade promotion platform but also as a strategic milestone in Vietnam’s journey to elevate its tourism industry on the global stage.
