The Da Nang Infrastructure Investment Project Management Board will open bidding on August 9 for a construction package in the project to build a coastal road to Lien Chieu Port.
The package is estimated at over VND952 billion ($40.1 million).
It is part of a project to build a coastal road in the central city’s Lien Chieu district, stretching 2.59 km and with six lanes.
It will cover 23.5 ha of land.
Total investment is estimated at over VND1.2 trillion ($50.4 million), of which VND700 billion ($29.4 million) will come from the city’s budget and the remainder from the national budget.
Construction is scheduled to begin in September.
The project aims to facilitate the construction and exploitation of Lien Chieu Port as well as connecting the port with the national transport network. It will also help link it with National Highway No. 1A, a bypass route to the south of Hai Van Tunnel, and industrial parks, helping to create advantages in attracting investment as well as boosting investment efficiency.
