The Vietnam Digital Communication Association (VDCA) officially announced the founding of the Digital Content Creation Alliance (DCCA) on December 21 and opened a hotline on 1900 2685 to receive reports of copyright infringements.
As the first body specializing in digital content creation in Vietnam, the DCCA aims to bring together enterprises, organizations, and individuals with common ideas and development goals and to turn digital content creation into a key economic sector. It also expects to create “Make in Vietnam” content for domestic and foreign markets.
According to the VDCA, Vietnam’s burgeoning internet economy and rapid growth in social network users have markedly increased the number of content creators on global platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, among others, turning the content creation industry into a new trend in development.
Vietnam’s digital content industry has ample opportunities to reach the global market. Creators, however, must adopt strategic thinking on the digital economy and be more professional in corporate management and operations.
The 1900 2685 hotline will receive reports on copyright infringements, with information passed on to relevant agencies.
