Southern Dong Nai province targets developing into an important growth pole in Vietnam and one of the best cities to live in in Asia by 2050.
Under its draft master planning by 2030 with a vision to 2050, it plans to have 17 urban areas by 2030, including Bien Hoa city, which is envisioned as becoming a national center of industrial development, trade, services, tourism, science and technology, and training.
The province will strive to become a dynamic economy and a development nucleus in the southern key economic region.
In order to reach its target, Dong Nai has proposed four development pillars, including the development of an airport city, a modern industrial and support services center, and an urban and services center, and effective and sustainable agriculture.
It attracted $522 million worth of FDI in the first four months of this year, more than double the figure in the same period last year.
