A salary increase of 10 per cent in 2023 is the most common expectation of workers according to a report released by leading HR services provider the Navigos Group on January 17.
Talent Guide 2023, featuring the views of 4,170 respondents working in 23 sectors, shows that an annual salary increase of 10 per cent was the top expectation of 45.62 per cent of those taking part.
According to the Navigos Group, workers now pay greater attention to factors relating to the working environment and culture. The majority of respondents selected working environment, salary, and business culture as the three leading factors keeping them at their current employer.
Other factors include company reputation, career opportunities, business transparency, and personal health insurance, the report found.
It also revealed, however, that many businesses have failed offer salary increases because of the difficulties and challenges caused by Covid-19.
