Enterprises in northern Bac Giang province are looking to recruit more than 100,000 workers this year, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

There are 7,636 enterprises operating in the province at present, with a total of 306,200 employees, figures from the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs reveal. Of these workers, 190,360 are employed at industrial parks.

A number of enterprises that have significant recruitment demand this year, including the Hong Hai Technical Science Corporation, which needs 27,000 workers, Luxshare - ICT, with nearly 47,000 workers, and New Wing Interconnect Technology, with 27,000 workers.

Provincial authorities recently held a working session with local authorities to discuss solutions to help enterprises recruit workers.
