Vietnam’s 2024 export revenue from electronic products and components reached $119.74 billion as of December 15, according to the Vietnam General Department of Customs.
Of which, $68.14 billion was contributed by computers, electronics and components; and $51.6 billion.by phones and accessories.
Meanwhile, Vietnam imported computers, electronics and components worth $102.25 billion in the period, up 21.4% year-on-year and accounting for 28.26% of the country’s total import turnover. This marks a record high since 2013.
Vietnam imported computers, electronics and components mainly from China and South Korea.
This group of products is the first in the country hit the milestone of $100 billion worth of both import and export each.
