Vietnamese and foreign enterprises had the chance to directly meet and seek partners in supplying agriculture, forestry, and fisheries products at a trade exchange conference held on September 15 in Hanoi on the sidelines of the AgroViet 2023 expo.
The conference was also a venue for foreign businesses and investors to seek investment opportunities in Vietnam, according to Hoang Van Du, Deputy Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center.
The 23rd International Agricultural Exhibition (AgroViet 2023) opened in the capital on September 14 with the theme “Connecting Value Chains, Developing Ecological and Sustainable Agriculture”.
The four-day event featured over 200 booths and more than 1,000 sq m of product displays from over 100 domestic and international exhibitors. International booths included those from China, South Korea, Australia, and Russia, joining 45 localities around Vietnam.
Vietnam has established trade partnerships in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries products with nearly 200 countries and territories, including major markets such as China, the US, Japan, and the EU.
