Total trade turnover of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries products in the first nine months of this year stood at $74.7 billion, up 10.7 per cent year-on-year. Exports totaled $40.8 billion, up 15.2 per cent, while imports were $33.9 billion, up 5.7 per cent. Vietnam therefore posted a trade surplus of $6.9 billion; double the figure in the same period last year. Seven products and product groups posted export value of over $2 billion: coffee, rubber, rice, vegetables, cashew nuts, shrimp, and wooden products.
