Frasers Hospitality, a member of the Frasers Property Group, announced on December 3 that it will expand its footprint in Vietnam with the launch of Modena by Fraser Vinh Yen in Vinh Phuc province, making it the first internationally-branded serviced apartment in rapidly-developing Vinh Yen city near Hanoi, which has attracted corporate travelers as the number of conglomerates in the area increases.

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2023, the 97-unit mid-scale serviced apartment property is designed to cater to business travelers on extended stays. There will be four room types available, from 32-33 sq m studios without kitchenettes to 81-84 sq m two-bedroom apartments.

“As the first such hospitality concept here, Modena by Fraser Vinh Yen will meet the needs of the extended stay market we are expecting from Vinh Phuc and neighboring towns,” said Mr. Mark Chan, Chief Operating Officer at Frasers Hospitality.

Modena by Fraser Vinh Yen is the first collaboration between Frasers Hospitality and prominent Vietnamese manufacturer the Viet Duc Joint Stock Company.

Featuring modern interiors and practical workspaces, Modena by Fraser Vinh Yen will appeal to business travelers who want the comforts of home and space in their room or around the property where they can find respite and unwind away from work. To enhance their stay, smart facilities such as automated check-in kiosks and tech-enhanced meeting and conference facilities are seamlessly integrated into the experience. The property will also be fitted with a swimming pool, fitness center, and in-house café.
