Ride-hailing platform Gojek has appointed Mr. Sumit Rathor as its General Director in Vietnam.

Mr. Rathor joined Gojek in 2019 as its Regional Manager in Indonesia.

He arrived in Vietnam in 2022 to run the operations of the three Gojek divisions of restaurant partner development, marketing, and strategy.

Mr. Rathor will replace Mr. Phung Tuan Duc, Co-founder and General Director of Gojek Vietnam since 2020. After five years with the company, Mr. Duc has decided to pursue his own career.

“Vietnam is an important market for Gojek,” Mr. Rathor said.

Gojek began providing services in Vietnam in 2018.
