Gold prices in Vietnam continued to fall on September 11, following a downward trend in the global market.
The selling price of SJC-branded gold bars dropped by VND1 million ($37.7) from the previous day to VND134.8 million ($5,086) per tael.
Meanwhile, the buying price stood at VND132.3 million ($4,992) per tael, down VND500,000 ($18.8).
One tael equals 37.5 grams, or 1.2 ounces.
On the international market, gold fell 0.3% to $3,630 per ounce. At this rate, domestic gold prices remain about VND19.4 million ($732) per tael higher than global prices.
