Government inspectors discover $3.64 bln in economic violations

Trillions of VND in economic violations and hundreds of hectares of land violations were uncovered during inspections in the first six months of this year, according to the Government Inspectorate.

It conducted more than 3,910 administrative inspections and over 58,000 specialized inspections, the Government Inspectorate reported at a meeting held in Hanoi on July 11 to review results in the first six months and discuss tasks for the remaining months of the year.

More than VND92.7 trillion ($3.64 billion) in economic violations and over 292.5 ha of land violations were uncovered.

Inspectors proposed revoking over VND59.4 trillion ($2.33 billion) and 24.9 ha of land.

They proposed authorized agencies to handle the remaining of over VND33.35 trillion ($1.31 billion) and 252.5 ha of land.
