Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has instructed relevant ministries, agencies and localities to mobilize resources to prepare for the inauguration and launch of some 250 major projects at 80 sites nationwide on August 19 to mark the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2).
These projects have a combined investment capital of VND1.28 quadrillion (about $48.72 billion).
These comprise 89 completed projects ready for inauguration and 161 new ones set to start construction.
The PM asked ministries, agencies, localities, and State-owned firms to strictly implement his directions at Dispatch No. 129/CD/TTg issued earlier, ensuring the organization of dignified, safe, and effective ceremonies that engage the public and showcase national infrastructure breakthroughs.
Highlight projects include the inauguration of the Vietnam National Exposition Centre in Hanoi's Dong Anh commune; the groundbreaking of Viettel’s Research and Development Centre for advanced technologies such as semiconductors, AI, and big data; the launch of a 76.9-ha commercial-service and amusement complex in Da Nang; and the inauguration of Hai Anh Wind Power Plant in Quang Tri province.
