The People's Council of Hai Phong city in northern Vietnam has officially passed a resolution to add 13 land plots to its portfolio of sites available for project bidding, aiming to select investors for land-use developments during the 2025-2026 period.
The 13 newly added plots are categorized under two separate provisions of the 2024 Land Law.
Eight plots out of the 13 newly added plots, designated under point a, clause 1, Article 126 of the Land Law, are primarily for large-scale urban and residential development.
These include two projects in Eastern Hai Phong: Luu Kiem Urban Area Project (Luu Kiem ward), a major development covering 276.4 ha; and Hoa Dong – Lam Dong Urban Area Project (Thien Huong ward), with an area of 48.2 ha.
Six others in Western Hai Phong are Sat River Urban Area (Tu Minh ward), 21 ha; Tat Thuong New Residential Area (Lac Phuong commune), 4.6 ha; Luu Thuong Urban Area (Kinh Mon ward), 23.3 ha; Cau Sai River New Residential Area (An Thanh commune), 10.1 ha; An Thanh Commune New Residential Area, 15 ha; and Hung Dao Residential Area (Dai Son commune), 18.12 ha.
Five others out of the 13 newly added plots are categorized under point b, clause 1, Article 126 of the Land Law. Two of these plots, located in Eastern Hai Phong's Thuy Nguyen ward, are designated for specific public infrastructure projects: a plot for the construction of a Convention Center, with an area of 0.34 ha; and the other for the construction of an educational facility, with an area of 0.55 ha.
