Hai Phong to spend $42.6mln on new road

Road to link with Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) arterial road.

The Hai Phong City People’s Committee has kicked off construction of Do Muoi Road, with a total estimated cost of over VND1 trillion ($42.6 million).

The project is nearly 1.6 km long and over 50 meters wide.

It will be extended to the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) arterial road in the northern city’s Thuy Nguyen district.

Investment will be sourced from the city’s budget. Of total capital, over VND698 billion ($29.7 million) will go to site clearance.

The project is expected to be completed in 2024.

It aims at realizing the city’s orientation to develop its traffic infrastructure in a synchronous and modern manner and to improve the city’s landscapes.
