The People’s Committee of Hanoi has published a list of 36 projects calling for investment in 2024.

These projects focus on the fields of infrastructure construction, transport, waste treatment, urban areas, social houses, commercial centers, hotels and parks.

Of which, there are 16 projects building urban areas and social houses with an estimated total capital of over VND117 trillion ($4.59 billion).

They include 11 new urban areas in the outlying districts of Dong Anh, Thanh Tri, Me Linh and Dan Phuong. uilt in Dong Anh and Gia Lam outlying districts.

Meanwhile, a social housing project will be constructed in Bac Tu Liem district, covering 3.04 ha.

The municipal People’s Committee set a target to increase the average housing area per capita to 29.5 sq m in the 2021-2025 periods. Total floor area is expected to reach 44 million sq m.
