Hanoi plans to complete service road for Ring Road No.4 project in Q4

Hanoi is accelerating construction of the service road for the Ring Road No.4 project, with the goal of completing it in the fourth quarter of this year.

The 59-km service road runs across seven districts of Soc Son, Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Ha Dong, Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin. It allows a maximum speed of 80 kph.

Total investment capital is estimated at over VND5.38 trillion ($222 million).

The Ring Road No.4 has a total length of 112.8 km, running through Hanoi and its two neighboring provinces of Hung Yen and Bac Ninh,  and covers a combined area of 1,341 ha,  with total cost estimated at over VND85.8 trillion ($3.6 billion).

The project is scheduled for completion by 2026 and to open to traffic by 2027.

In the initial period, the link will have four lanes with a roadbed width of 17 m, allowing a maximum speed of 100 kph. It will have six lanes upon full completion.
