Ho Chi Minh City plans to build eight new logistics centers from now to 2025 on a total area of over 750 ha, according to the municipal People’s Committee.
The centers will be located in Thu Duc city and Cu Chi, Binh Chanh, Nha Be, and Hoc Mon districts.
Enterprises are also building projects with functions similar to logistics centers, such as cold storage facilities at the Vinh Loc Industrial Park and an electronic trading storage center in Cu Chi.
Ho Chi Minh City authorities have approved a master plan on logistics development by 2025 with a vision towards 2030, which targets logistics revenue growth of 15 per cent by 2025 and 20 per cent by 2030.
