HCMC’s Ring Road 4 to be submitted to NA for approval in June

Xuân Nghi -

Total investment in 207-km link around southern city estimated at $4.08 billion.

Localities where the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road No. 4 project will pass through have agreed to submit the project to the National Assembly (NA) in June for approval and to kick off the project in early 2025.

The road is designed to have a total length of around 207 km, passing through Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An provinces.

It will have 6-8 lanes and allow a maximum speed of 100 kph.

Total investment is estimated at over VND100 trillion ($4.08 billion), to be sourced from both central and provincial budgets.

At a recent meeting between leaders from the Ministry and Transport and the associated localities, Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan said Ring Road No. 4 is an important infrastructure project that will not only help boost regional connectivity but also link the southern region with the central highlands region.
