The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has released a report summarizing the five-year implementation of the “Project to Support the Development of the City’s Startup and Innovation Ecosystem for the 2021-2025 Period.”

It notes that the city’s startup and innovation ecosystem provides a solid foundation in support of innovation activities and is growing rapidly.

The city is approaching a ranking among the top 100 most dynamic cities globally and has been ranked second in the local innovation index released by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

This has created a favorable environment to promote and support the formation and development of fast-growing businesses based on the exploitation of intellectual property, technology, and new business models.

Furthermore, the implementation of support activities to enhance the productivity, quality, and competitiveness of businesses has raised awareness about the role of productivity and quality.

These activities ensure measurements based on science, technology, and innovation in production and business activities, contributing to brand building and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses for international integration.
