Vietnam’s innovation startup ecosystem continues to improve significantly in both ranking and growth rate, according to the 2026 Global Startup Ecosystem Index.
The newly launched venture capital fund in Ho Chi Minh City is targeting a scale of at least VND5 trillion, with a strong emphasis on mobilising private investment, positioning it as a key catalyst for the city’s innovation startup ecosystem.
The central city currently has three startup support centres, 12 incubators, eight co-working spaces, three makerspaces and dozens of university-based startup clubs.
Southern city’s ecosystem approaching a ranking among the top 100 most dynamic cities globally and has been ranked second in the local innovation index.
The Da Nang Department of Science and Technology and the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) held the “Linking Vietnam’s startup ecosystem to connect internationally” event and the “Innovation Alliance, Creative Collaboration to Promote National Open Creative Startup Ecosystem” program on September 30.
