Hue City in central Vietnam has announced two additional social housing projects in Thanh Thuy Ward and Thuy Xuan Ward, with a total area of over 46,700 sq.m and a total investment capital of approximately VND2.6 trillion (nearly $99 million).
One of the two project - the Social Housing Project Khu E – An Van Duong New Urban Area, located in Thanh Thuy Ward, covers an area of over 38,000 sq.m, with construction area being approximately more than 13,300 sq.m and total construction floor area reaching 181,042 sq.m, providing 1,975 apartments each ranging from 25 - 70 sq.m. The land for the project is currently primarily rice fields and aquaculture land, with complete transportation systems running around three sides bordering the site.
The total investment capital for the project is nearly VND2.074 trillion or $78.74 million (excluding land use fees). According to the plan, construction is set to begin in Q3/2026 and the entire project is expected to be completed and operational by Q3/2030.
Meanwhile, the Bau Va Social Housing Project in Thuy Xuan Ward has a land use area of nearly 8,700 sq.m, a maximum total construction floor area of approximately 41,635 sq.m, providing 454 apartments each ranging from 25 - 70 sq.m.
The estimated total investment for this project is over VND530 billion or $20 million (excluding land use fees). The project is expected to commence in Q2/2026 and become operational in Q2/2028.
