In a bid to exhibit corporate social responsibility and bolster environmental sustainability, Imexpharm Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company recently partnered with the Nha Trang City Committee in a tree planting endeavor along Ring Road 2 of Nha Trang City. The initiative underscores Imexpharm's dedication to collaborating with local authorities to safeguard the environment and enhance the well-being of residents.

The activity was attended by prominent figures including Ms. Truong Thi Thu Thao, Deputy Head of the Department of Theory, Politics and Party History, Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Department of Mass Organizations and Associations, People's Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nha Trang City; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hien, Deputy Director of the City Public Service Management Board. These leaders, along with representatives from Imexpharm, joined forces to plant 500 trees along Nha Trang's Ring Road 2 and collect waste from Nha Trang beach. This initiative supports the city's "Nurturing Green Seeds - Drawing the Future" campaign, which aligns with the government's nationwide plan to plant 1 billion trees between 2021-2025.During the inaugural ceremony held at Thap Cham Square, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Secretary of Nha Trang Provincial Youth Union, emphasized the pressing need for environmental conservation amidst the escalating challenges posed by climate change. He underscored the pivotal role of coastal cities like Nha Trang in championing environmental stewardship to foster healthier communities.

The Central Secretariat has designated 2024 as the “Year of Volunteer Youth” with an initiative for the Central Youth Union to plant hundreds of new trees in Khanh Hoa province. This effort supports Nha Trang's goal of becoming a green, clean, and beautiful coastal city.
