Government leaders and domestic and foreign experts will discuss measures to boost digital transformation, green transition, and labor transition to improve smart production capacity at the Industry 4.0 Summit and Expo scheduled to open in Hanoi on June 14.
Chaired by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs, the Summit has the theme “Promoting digital transformation and green transition to create breakthroughs, shortening the industrialization and modernization process by 2030 with a vision towards 2045”.
It is an important gathering held to implement the Party Central Committee’s Resolution No. 29 on the country’s industrialization and modernization by 2030 with a vision towards 2045.
Under Resolution No. 29, issued in November 2022, Vietnam is to basically meet the criteria for an industrialized country and become a developing country with modern industry and upper-middle income by 2030.
By 2045, it is to become a developed country with high incomes and one of the leading industrialized nations in Asia.
The Summit and the Expo will focus on smart production, the application of artificial intelligence in industry and green transition, green energy, green finance, and green education.
