Minister of Transport Nguyen Van Thang has issued a modern transport development plan for the central highlands by 2030 with a vision towards 2045.
The plan is aimed at promoting transport development in the five provinces of Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, and Lam Dong.
Priority will be given to the development of air and railway transport to ease pressure on road transport.
Under the plan, the ministry will apply advanced transport technology, develop transport logistics, improve logistics service quality, modernize means of transport to ensure safety, comfort and environmental protection, and increase the application of information technology in management and administrative tasks.
