The 150-ha Dong Dinh Industrial Park project in central Quang Ngai proovince will not bring high efficiency and implementation will face many difficulties, so it has been removed from provincial planning.

Two key coastal road projects in northern Thanh Hoa province will begin construction in October, with total investment of VND5.6 trillion ($247.22 million), and are expected to help the province fulfil its development and tourism potential.

The Duong River upgrade project in Vietnam’s north is to begin this year and be completed in 2025 with total investment of nearly VND1.8 trillion ($79.4 million), removing a long-standing “bottleneck” along the Waterway Transportation Corridor No.1.

Central Quang Binh province has adjusted and supplemented 98 projects on a total area of more than 550 ha. Among these are a number of large projects such as roads connecting the center of the provincial capital Dong Hoi to the airport and neighboring roads to tourist routes in the city.

Investment in developing airport infrastructure is expected to exceed VND312 trillion ($13.7 billion) over the next ten years, nearly three-fold higher than in the last ten years. The franchising of airport operations is being considered.

The price tag to develop Vietnam’s seaport network under a plan to 2030 comes to VND313 trillion ($13.7 billion), to be mobilized primarily from non-budget sources, enterprises, and foreign sources.
