The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will discuss a draft NA resolution on piloting certain mechanisms and policies aimed at removing obstacles related to investment in the construction of road works, at its 27th session which opened in Hanoi on October 11.
The draft is among major matters to be discussed during the five-day meeting that will be later submitted to the upcoming sixth plenary session of the legislature.
Opinions will be offered on important socio-economic, financial, and budgetary issues, including an assessment of the implementation of socio-economic development plans for 2023 and plans for 2024, and a mid-term assessment of socio-economic development and economic restructuring in the 2021-2025 tenure.
Budget estimates and central budget allocation plans for 2024 and mid-term assessments of the five-year public debt plan and the mid-term public investment plan for 2021-2025 will also be discussed.
The Committee will conduct a thematic supervision on the implementation of policies and laws on energy development during the 2016-2021 period.
It will also offer comments on a report on the implementation of NA Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 relating to fiscal and monetary policies aimed at supporting the socio-economic development and recovery program and the government report on the results and obstacles in the implementation of the three National Target Programs during the 2021-2023 period.
