Tan Cang - Long Binh depot in southern Dong Nai province has been added to the list of inland container depots in Vietnam, which now stands at eleven in total, according to the Ministry of Transport (MoT).

The depot covers 105 ha with nearly 30 warehouses on a total area of 500,000 sq m.

This is the second dry port in Dong Nai province to be added to the MoT list.

The opening of Tan Cang - Long Binh will help to facilitate trade activities for businesses and boost local socio-economic development while contributing to increase competitiveness in the province.

It was put into operation in March 2010.

The other ten inland container depots are Hai Linh, Km3 4 Mong Cai, Tan Can Hai Phong, Dinh Vu - Quang Binh, Hoang Thanh, Long Bien, Tan Cang Ha Nam, Phuc Loc - Ninh Binh, Tan Cang Nhon Trach, and Tan Cang Que Vo.
