Long An calls for investors to build residential areas

The Long An Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has called for interested investors to build a residential area in the Mekong Delta’s province’s Can Giuoc district.

The project covers an area of 9.2 ha.

Total investment is estimated at VND1.453 trillion ($61.3 million), of which over VND1.1 trillion ($46 million) will be used for project construction and remainder for site clearance and compensation.

The urban area will accommodate commercial and social housing.

Construction is scheduled to last through to the third quarter of 2024.

At the same time, local authorities also called for investors to build another residential area in Duc Hoa district. This will cover 197.2 ha with an expected population of 40,000. Total investment is estimated at over VND25 trillion ($1.05 billion).
