Authorities in north-central Nghe An province granted investment licenses to six new projects on January 13 with total investment capital of $390 million, the Nghe An online newspaper has reported.
These include five foreign-invested projects with capital of $311 million.
Projects include the construction of the Radiant Opto-Electronics Vietnam Nghe An plant, at the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, with investment of $120 million from Taiwan (China)’s Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation.
The Hong Kong (China)-invested Everwin Precision Technology Vietnam Co. Ltd, meanwhile, will invest $115 million in building a technology factory at the industrial park.
Also licensed was the Luxcase Precision Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd, under Singapore’s Casetek Singapore Pte. Ltd., which will build a factory at the industrial park manufacturing metal components, with total investment capital of $24 million.
China’s Fujian Xinfeng Technology Co.,Ltd, a manufacturer of precision-formed CNC machining components, is to invest $32 million in building a factory at the WHA Industrial Park.
China’s Jiangxi Gaojia Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. will invest $20 million in also building a factory at the WHA Industrial Park.
And the Hoang Thinh Dat Corp. was licensed to invest VND1.9 trillion ($77.5 million) in building infrastructure for the Hoang Mai II Industrial Park.
