Nghe An province has officially approved a plan to establish the Do Lang II Industrial Cluster (the project) in Nghi Lam commune, Nghi Loc district.
With a total investment of nearly VND930 billion ($35.7 million) and a focus on green development, the project is expected to become a core hub for attracting satellite enterprises for the province's major economic zones.
Covering an area of approximately 75 ha, the project will have an operational lifespan of 50 years from the date of its establishment approval.
According to the plan, the Do Lang II Industrial Cluster will be developed as a multi-sector hub, prioritizing the attraction of clean, environmentally friendly industries. These include: manufacturing and assembly of electrical equipment and electronic components, precision engineering, supporting industries, and textiles/garments, and production of household appliances, construction materials, wooden furniture, interior decor, and phosphate fertilizer.
The entire technical infrastructure system within the cluster will be fully and synchronously developed to modern standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and industrial sanitation regulations.
The project is also designed to connect efficiently with external infrastructure, including transportation routes, water supply and drainage systems, and the power grid, in order to facilitate the production and business operations of future tenant companies.
