Specific highlights in the commerce, services, and tourism sectors include a general commercial and service center within the Nam Cao University Area; shopping malls and exhibition centers; the Truong An Thinh Long petroleum depot; inland container depots (ICD) and logistics centers; and the Dinh Hoa general cargo port.
For industrial infrastructure, the province is calling for investment in the development and operation of technical infrastructure for high-tech zones and industrial clusters. Notable projects include the Ha Nam High-Tech Zone, and the Nam Hong, Lac Xuan, and Kim Bang II Industrial Zones.
