Northern Ninh Binh province is set to launch a $5 billion mega-complex spanning 1,000 ha, with construction expected to begin by the end of this year.
The project is envisioned as a strategic breakthrough that will transform the province into a new growth pole and solidify its position on the global tourism map.
The centerpiece of this development is a "Sleepless City" and an entertainment complex designed to be a new iconic destination in Asia. Inspired by globally successful models like Disneyland and Universal Studios, the project seeks to establish a unique identity for the historic "Ancient Capital" region.
Aligned with the Government’s night-life economic development scheme, the complex will pioneer a wide array of nocturnal activities, including large-scale real-scene performances, light and music festivals, and bustling culinary streets. Furthermore, a 6-kilometer Formula 1 (F1) track built to FIA standards is expected to serve as a landmark attraction, drawing international racing enthusiasts to the province.
The master plan also integrates an international football academy based on Spanish and Japanese training models. This facility aims to discover and develop young athletic talent for both Ninh Binh and the broader Vietnamese sports landscape.
Addressing an urgent need for high-end accommodation, the project will add 15,000 to 20,000 luxury hotel and resort rooms to the province. This expansion is designed to resolve the current shortage of lodging following a record-breaking 2025, in which Ninh Binh welcomed 19.4 million visitors, fueling a massive demand for international-standard stayover facilities.
