The Department of Construction of Bac Ninh province in northern Vietnam has officially announced the approval of a new social housing project in Dai Phuc ward, with a total investment of approximately VND563 billion (nearly $21.5 million).
The project is designed to address the growing demand for social housing, specifically from industrial park workers and low-income residents in the province.
As a key component of Bac Ninh's housing development program, the complex will feature comprehensive social infrastructure, including schools, healthcare facilities, recreational areas, cultural and sports centers, and commercial services.
Set to be developed on a 5,481.7 sq.m plot of land, the project is designed to accommodate approximately 764 residents. The architectural plans feature a single 19-story tower with a rooftop level and one basement, containing a total of 368 apartments. Commercial space within the building will be limited to a maximum of 20% of the total construction floor area.
The project is scheduled for completion within three years, starting from the date the investor officially receives the land handover for construction.
