The One Global Vietnam - ASEAN 2024 event will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on November 23 and 24.

It will gather together Vietnamese experts, intellectuals, and scientists residing and working in ASEAN countries to discuss cooperation mechanisms and Vietnam’s role in the region.

Organized by the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Global (AVSE Global), it follows the successful One Global Vietnam - La Francophonie 2024 (OGVF 2024) held in Paris, France.

One Global Vietnam - ASEAN 2024 will focus on maximizing cooperation between nations and promoting solidarity within the community of Vietnamese intellectuals and experts in ASEAN.

Key discussion topics include economics, trade, and advanced technology value chains; culture, education, and innovative startups; political security towards peace; and networking among Vietnamese intellectuals and experts in the region.

Delegates from various ASEAN countries, including Laos, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar, Brunei, and Vietnam, will participate.

The event aims to propose strategic solutions to position Vietnam as a leading nation in the region. Its outcomes will be presented in a strategic report to the Party General Secretary and leaders of the Party and State, contributing to the development of the ASEAN Blueprint 2045 vision.

One Global Vietnam - ASEAN 2024 marks a significant step in connecting Vietnam’s intellectual strength with the region, aiming for innovative and sustainable initiatives for the future.
