Addressing the 2nd ASEAN - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on May 27. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested the two blocs jointly shape a new inter-regional cooperation model.
At the Second Special ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting on negotiations for upgrading ATIGA, held online on May 9, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien urged ASEAN members to continue fostering unity, work towards resolving outstanding differences, and ensure the upgraded ATIGA is feasible, effective, and sustainable for all parties.
Attending the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh underscored the importance of reinforcing ASEAN’s strategic self-control by strengthening the bloc's solidarity and centrality.
